About the Instructor
Carol Kaplan is a mixed media artist who is also a retired art teacher and currently the FVAC Executive Director. Her work has been exhibited in many juried shows and is part of private collections throughout New England. Carol enjoys connecting with artists of all ages, stages, and abilities to share her love of art!

Choosing from a variety of beautiful handmade papers that will be layered onto an artist canvas, participants will learn how to depict an abstract landscape using basic elements of foreground, middle ground, and background. No experience is required, and creativity is encouraged!
Little Night Studio artist participants will take home a frameable piece of work that will inspire them to continue with the techniques they have learned in multiple ways.
Refreshments will be served, and the gallery will be open for your enjoyment. Cheers!
