Lois Matson is a dedicated volunteer and artisan weaver at the Hartford Artisans Weaving Center, where she also teaches classes. A former pediatric registered dietitian at Connecticut Children’s, she has immersed herself in the world of fiber arts, exploring everything from weaving to sewing. Her latest passion is Kinbaku-bi—the intricate art of tightly knotting stones into striking sculptural forms.
